Policy Overview

Due to the tailored nature of modified units, fabricated containers are subject to specific terms regarding cancellations, returns, structural guarantees, and pre-delivery sign-offs.

Terms & Conditions

• Pre-Dispatch Approval & Sign-Off: Prior to delivery, all custom-fabricated containers undergo a quality control inspection. Clients receive photographic or video verification (or may conduct an in-person depot inspection) to confirm that build specifications match the agreed layout plan before the unit leaves the depot.

• Custom Modifications Non-Refundable: Once fabrication or modification work (including cutting apertures, installing insulation, electrical fit-outs, plumbing, doors, windows, or custom paint/branding) has commenced, orders for customized containers become non-refundable and non-returnable.

• Structural & Specification Guarantee: If a fabricated unit arrives with structural defects, water leaks, or unauthorized deviations from the approved technical specification drawing, Trans-Vall Container Solutions will repair the issue on-site or arrange a unit swap at no extra charge.

• Cancellations Prior to Fabrication: Orders canceled after payment but before physical fabrication or cutting work has started are eligible for a refund, minus a standard administrative and engineering plan preparation fee.

• Site Access & Inspection Upon Delivery:

  • Clients must inspect the fabricated container upon arrival before the delivery vehicle leaves the site.

  • Any transport-related damage or defect must be noted on the delivery note and reported to our team within 48 hours of offloading.

• Refund Processing: For eligible claims or pre-fabrication cancellations, approved refunds are processed via bank transfer (EFT) within 5–7 business days.

Transport Logistics: Delivered nationwide across South Africa via dedicated tilt-tray or crane (HIAB) trucks for precise placement.

• Fulfillment Timeframes:

  • Standard Units: 3 to 5 business days from payment confirmation.

  • Converted Units: 10 to 21 business days, depending on scope of work.

• Site Requirements:

  • Height Clearance: Storage Container transport requires a minimum vertical clearance of 4.5 m to clear overhead utility cables and tree limbs.

  • Ground Surface: Placement site must be level, firm, and capable of supporting truck and crane outriggers.

• Delivery Coordination: The delivery agent will contact you prior to arrival to confirm site accessibility and final offloading positioning.
